3 Yellow Wagtais were on the filter beds at the Dewsbury Sewae Works this morning.The 2 males and a female were flushed towards the Western end of the works
Around 140 Hirrundines were also over the filter beds including some 35 House martins and the rest made up mostly of swallows.

A superb male Yellow Wagtail is feeding on the filter beds this morning together with a single White Wagtail.Also 2 Common Sandpipers are on the River Calder opositte the centre of the sewage works.A single Common Whitethroat is also singing near the vehicle compound on the works

There are 4 singing Willow Warblers on Mill Bank Thornhill this morning.Also 6 Gadwall and 2 Shoveller on Dewsbury sewage Works this morning.No sign of the 52 Teal present yesterday.
Also on Dewsbury Sewage Works single Little Ringed Plover and 2 Oyster catchers.2 Male Blackcaps are on Kerries...

A Little Ringed Plover was present on Dewsbury Sewage Works this morning.Also present were 3 Shoveller(1 male 2 females)52 Teal,2 Gadwall 2 Tufted Ducks and 28 Mallard
2 Kingfishers are displaying on the River calder at the bottom of Healy Road Ossett.
There are around 220 Swallows on the filter...

There was good numbers of Hirrundines present on our patch this evening with a very noticeable slow drifting Westwards movement.
At least 240 Swallows were over the compost heaps at the southern end of Pildacre Chickenley at 17:00 with around 34 House martins and 32 Sand Martins making up the...

Things are very quiet in our part of the Calder valley at the moment.
There are 3 singing Chiff Chaffs between Ossett and Dewsbury with 2 birds singing on the mill bank side of the valley and one bird singing on Kerries reserve.There is still a single Green Sandpiper on the Calder near earlsheaton...

Roe Deer are been reported more frequently around the ossett and Dewsbury area and a single individual was photographed a few mornings ago as it fed in the copse near kerries butter factory(see photogallery).

12 European Bee Eaters circled our compound this morning before heading off North.Also 2 Greater Blue Eared Glossy Starlings payed brief visit.
2 European Bee Eaters came into the compound the following day before continuing North.
