Another rather quiet day but at least the sound of Pink Footed Geese was heard over Dewsbury again this afternoon

Windy conditions make it difficult for small birds but Glaucous Gull was a nice bonus on an otherwise quiet day

Birding in the early morning was difficult but an improvement around mid morning gave chance for a brief walk round the local sites. Thornhill Rectory Park was almost birdless with most of the central copse effected by the wind.2 Jays were on the ground on the Northern end of the golf...
